Last 15th October, RICELT members presented their research at the ChileGlobal Seminar UK held at the IoE of the University of London. This seminar was organised together with REDICE (Red de Investigadores Chilenos en Educacion), SEARCH Society, IOE, and ChileGlobal Seminars UK.
It was an event for sharing the current research in EFL in Chile. The topics reflected the diversity of research, as well as the need to keep working for our project. The programme included five presentations of Chilean postgraduate students, and the insightful comments of Dr. Richard Smith, who was part of our launch session at IATEFL Chile.
Over 30 attendees participated in the seminar discussion, in which most of them were Chilean teachers of English studying postgraduate programmes in the UK. We also had the active participation of one of the undergraduate students part of the Semester Abroad Programme of the English Opens Doors Programme of the Ministry of Education.
